Beyond the Annual Funding Cycle: Enterprise Strategies for NGOs
By CSS and PartnersGlobal
We just wrapped our first webinar on enterprise strategies for NGOs, with participants from Nepal, Nigeria, Guatemala, and the US.
This was the second in a series we've been developing with PartnersGlobal on funding diversification for uncertain times.
What came through clearly: most organizations in the room were already experimenting with income generation. The gap wasn't ideas. It was sequence, starting point, and organizational readiness to act on what they already knew.
One participant put it well:
"Very helpful... for us, given the stage of our organization, the fee-for-service opportunity."
That's where the real traction is right now. Not complex financial instruments. Practical, testable first steps: fee-for-service, packaging existing expertise, identifying the first paying client. And the decision-making underneath all of it: what do we do first, and are we ready to do it.
We'll run this again, with more tailored examples and more space for application. If you're working on these questions, we'd love to hear from you. This is the kind of work we build with people, not just for them.
Thanks to everyone who joined.
